Karen had been in the dog grooming business for more than 20 years, however upon realizing the wear and tear of her body, her passion for health, wellness, and massages were born. At the age of 40, Karen went back to school to become a registered massage therapist.
Now, Karen helps other people find the health and freedom they have been searching for. After all, she believes that just because you’re at the mid-point of life doesn’t mean it’s time to slow down.

Karen Theimer began her career several decades ago as a dog groomer. Animals have always been a big part of her life, and so it makes sense that that is where her journey began. And so, her dog grooming career went on for 23 years before she began to notice the wear and tear on her body. Hours upon hours of bending over bathtubs and grooming tables had taught her that if we did not respect the musculature of our bodies, we’d find ourselves in a whole world of hurt.
With that realization, Karen’s love for massage and health was born. And while it wasn’t easy to walk away from her dog grooming business, saying goodbye to that path allowed her to pursue her passion for health and wellness in a whole new way, something she still loves to this day.
After leaving her old business, Karen found the courage to go back to school at the age of 40 to pursue her designation as a registered massage therapist. She truly believed that each step on her journey has been instrumental in bringing her to where she is now.
