Despite the loss, she is grateful that her husband did not suffer long. Out of this experience, she gained clarity and breathed healing through her words in the books she authored.
Kim also talked about her experience in Haiti after it was hit by an earthquake that left horror in its wake.

Kim’s award-winning best seller, Love Is, came from a desire to know the true meaning of love, an enlightening journey that led to life-changing discoveries found mainly on the streets of Haiti.
